Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install and retrofit fire sprinkler systems on commercial projects in Florida. You will read blueprints, cut and groove piping, and coordinate with general contractors to ensure code-compliant, high-quality installations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years in the Fire and Life Safety industry, and is enrolled in a Sprinkler Apprentice Program.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in and actively going through Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems and backflows.
• Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Install new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe using saws and pipe threaders.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors to resolve field conflicts.
• Assist with job scheduling and progress with focus on quality.
• Modify designs to ensure code compliance and safety.
• Provide guidance to other field installers and helpers.
• Comply with safety programs and procedures.
