Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a fire sprinkler installer/pipefitter for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects in a field role. You will install, assemble, and maintain sprinkler piping and devices per plans, read construction drawings, and assist with testing and commissioning.

The position requires a high school diploma with 1–5 years' experience and knowledge of NFPA standards. NICET training is preferred, and safety is emphasized on all sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or pipefitting; knowledge of NFPA standards; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints; strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
• NICET certification or trade-related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler piping, fittings, and devices according to plans and specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with foremen, other trades, and field personnel to ensure project schedule adherence.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.
