Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level sprinkler installer to support the installation and repair of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire sprinkler systems across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

You will lay out pipe strings, connect components, and attach sprinkler heads under foreman supervision, while keeping the job site safe, clean, and compliant with current codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.
• Assist in installation and repair per specifications.
• Maintain safety and a clean work area on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
