Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level helper in Duluth, GA to assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. You will support foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements.

You will carry, stage, and organize materials, tools, and pipe, assist with hanging pipe and sprinkler heads, and participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years experience; construction or mechanical background preferred.
• Basic computer skills and email ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
• Hang pipe, install hangers, and set sprinkler heads.
• Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup.
