Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a field installer to assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in Greenwood, SC. You will lay out pipe, connect fittings, and attach sprinkler heads while maintaining a safe, clean work site and following all safety policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or 0–6 months of related experience) and may include overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months related experience or training acceptable.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lay out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connect pipe using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate safety hazards to foreman or superintendent; keep site safe and clean.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
