Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a field technician to assist with the installation and maintenance of fire protection piping, valves, and sprinkler heads across commercial, residential, and industrial settings in accordance with current codes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 0–6 months related experience). Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork with foremen, and potential overtime. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
