Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in New Jersey is seeking a Sprinkler Install Support Technician to assist with installing fire sprinkler systems under direct supervision. Gain hands-on experience while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Under supervision, you will transport tools, aid installations, document work, and travel to job sites as required, contributing to a collaborative team on active projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No minimum experience required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Sprinkler Install Support Technician assists in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay Rate

$22.00 hourly.
