Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Winder, GA is seeking an entry-level helper to assist fire sprinkler installers on construction and retrofit projects. You will support foremen and fitters by carrying, staging, and organizing materials, pipes, and tools while learning installation techniques and safety practices.

You will cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision, assist with hanging pipe and sprinkler heads, and support flushing, testing, and system startup activities as you gain OSHA knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 0-2 years’ experience; construction or mechanical experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills, email.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
• Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
