Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level Fire Sprinkler Helper in Jacksonville, FL to assist installers on construction and retrofit projects. You will learn fire sprinkler installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements while supporting foremen and fitters with basic labor tasks.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 0–2 years of construction or mechanical experience; basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
• Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
• Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
