Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level Fire Sprinkler Install Helper to assist with installing fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. You will support foremen and fitters by handling basic labor, learning installation techniques, and safety practices on the job.

You will carry materials, prep pipe, hang pipe and sprinkler heads, and assist with testing and startups while following OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years of experience; construction or mechanical experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use email.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
• Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
• Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
