Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a skilled pipefitter to layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated fixtures on commercial projects in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities include installing pipe fittings, coordinating with designers and project teams, preparing daily progress reports, and mentoring junior Fitters. A high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience are required, with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plans and codes.
• Complete weekly paperwork for CFP and project coordination with general contractor.
• Communicate with designer before design changes and regarding material shortages.
• Produce red-line drawings to submit to designer.
• Provide daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
