Job summary

SoarElite in Sparks, NV is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our growing fire protection team serving customers throughout Reno and the Northern Nevada region.

You will inspect commercial and industrial sprinkler systems, test components, document findings, and travel within the service territory. The role offers steady year-round work and strong benefits with the potential for long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fire protection or life safety fields.
• Nevada Fire Sprinkler License or ability to obtain license within reasonable time.
• Current backflow certification is required and recognized.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems per NFPA standards and local requirements.
• Test sprinkler heads, valves, piping, alarms, and related components.
• Perform water flow tests and main drain tests as required.
• Document deficiencies, impairments, and code-related concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate.
• Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly with customers about system conditions.
• Maintain assigned equipment and company vehicle.
• Travel within Reno and Northern Nevada service territory, with occasional overnights.
