Job summary

SoarElite in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our growing fire protection team serving Northern Nevada. You will inspect, test and document NFPA-compliant sprinkler systems, while communicating findings clearly to customers and maintaining equipment and the company vehicle.

Travel throughout Reno and the Northern Nevada service area is required, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fire protection or related life safety field.
• Nevada Fire Sprinkler License or ability to obtain license in a reasonable time.
• Current backflow certification.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and inspection requirements.
• Ability to identify deficiencies and ensure code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and state/local rules.
• Test sprinkler heads, valves, piping, alarms and related components.
• Perform water flow and main drain tests as required.
• Document deficiencies, impairments and code concerns clearly.
• Provide basic maintenance and minor repairs when needed.
• Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service records.
• Communicate inspection findings professionally to customers.
• Maintain assigned equipment and company vehicle.
• Travel throughout Reno and Northern Nevada, with occasional overnight stays.
