Job summary

Service Fire, Inc. is seeking a licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our field operations team in Texas. The role conducts code‑compliant inspections and testing of commercial and industrial sprinkler systems, requiring attention to detail and a Texas RME-I license.

You will document findings, verify system operation, and collaborate with property owners and project managers to resolve issues while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RME-I license is required.
• 3–5 years of fire sprinkler experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Deep knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, components, and applicable codes (NFPA, NEC).
• Familiarity with inspection software, tablets, and digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13 & 25, state, and local codes.
• Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings and corrective actions.
• Verify proper system operation and ensure compliance with applicable fire protection standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Service Fire with excellence at all client sites.
• Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and functional condition.
• Support safety culture by adhering to OSHA and company-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current RME-I License issued by the State of Texas — required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of fire sprinkler experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Deep knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, components, and applicable codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).
• Familiarity with inspection software, tablets, and digital reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, system drawings, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required

Schedule

• Full-Time – Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be available depending on project demands.

Work Location

• Field-based across Texas, primarily servicing commercial and industrial client sites.
• Travel between job locations using a company-provided vehicle is required.
