Job summary

Level Up Partners is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain commercial fire sprinkler and life safety systems across multiple customer sites in Texas. You will identify deficiencies and provide detailed results and recommended repairs.

The ideal candidate has a Texas RME-I license, 5+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RME-I license required and 5+ years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and HS Diploma/GED.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Experience with on-site inspections, testing, and maintenance.
• OSHA certification is a plus; proficient reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire sprinkler inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance at multiple sites.
• Identify NFPA/code deficiencies and non-conformance issues; recommend repairs.
• Review findings with customers; provide detailed inspection reports.
• Troubleshoot systems and perform minor service and repairs as needed.
• Travel to customer locations daily; participate in on-call rotation as required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial fire sprinkler and life safety systems. This individual will travel to multiple customer sites, conduct comprehensive inspections, identify code deficiencies and non-compliance issues, and provide customers with detailed inspection results and recommended repairs.

An active Texas RME-I License is required. Must have 5+ years of related experience, a valid Driver’s License, and High School Diploma/GED. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes required. OSHA certification preferred. Experience with pre-action systems, foam systems, fire pump testing, CO2, Halon, FM-200, nitrogen and other special suppression systems is a plus. Experience with ProfitZoom, Building Reports, Paylocity, and ERRC/FCC licensing is also preferred. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) matching.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform fire sprinkler inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance in accordance with applicable standards
• Conduct inspections for existing structures, renovations, and new construction
• Identify NFPA/code deficiencies and non-conformance issues and recommend repairs
• Troubleshoot systems and perform minor service and repairs as needed
• Review inspection findings and recommendations directly with customers
• Complete accurate, detailed inspection reports and documentation
• Serve as the primary customer contact while on-site and provide excellent customer service
• Stay current on NFPA codes, inspection requirements, and industry changes
• Coordinate with inspection leadership to ensure scheduled work is completed
• Travel to multiple customer locations each day and participate in an on-call rotation as required
