Job summary

American Fire Protection Group in College Station, TX is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform regular inspections and maintenance on commercial sprinkler systems. A valid RME-I license is required; BPAT is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled or unscheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on fire sprinkler systems.
• Service and test all systems.
• Complete inspection reports electronically or on paper.
• Document time worked and paperwork for tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in scheduling and completing assigned duties.
• Work independently and use provided PPE.

Fire Sprinkler Inspector Position

A Fire Sprinkler Inspector is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on fire sprinklers in commercial spaces.

You must have a valid RME-I License. Although not required, it is beneficial for the successful candidate to have the following license: BPAT

This position has a salary range of$27+ per hourdepending on experienceand held licenses.

Job Responsibilities

• Performance of daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various fire sprinkler systems.
• Service and test all systems.
• Complete electronic and/or handwritten inspection reports.
• Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the scheduling and completion of assigned duties.
• Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a licensed inspector in the fire protection industry.
• Understand NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and building and fire codes.
• Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
• Valid driver’s license; in accordance with company policy required.
• Able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
