Qualifications

• NICET certification preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards (70 & 72) a plus.
• Experience with commercial and residential systems.
• Ability to act in lead capacity and manage teams.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills; works well in team and independently.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends/out-of-town assignments.
• Knowledge of codes/regulations and ability to review documents for accuracy.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Install or upgrade fire alarms in commercial and residential buildings.
• Test and repair alarm systems.
• Perform inspections to ensure installations meet code.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Report results of work completed.
• Maintain company equipment.
• Meet with engineers/property management/site contacts.
• Verify system integrity before tying into building alarms.
• Repair systems to ensure compliance.
• Inspect and maintain truck and equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Respond to emergency service calls.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
