Job summary

Chesapeake Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Tenant Foreman to lead field crews and oversee installation projects in Ashburn, VA. This hands-on leadership role requires trade knowledge, ownership, and the ability to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong fire sprinkler installation knowledge and leadership skills.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crews, designers, project managers, and customers.
• Clean MVR required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping and sprinkler systems.
• Lead and train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
• Produce accurate red-line drawings for the design team.
• Communicate project and schedule changes with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Complete daily progress reports and required project paperwork.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Tenant Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the installation of fire sprinkler systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows the trade, takes ownership, and can keep a project moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
