Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Ashburn, VA is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will fabricate, assemble, and install piping per plans and codes, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related field experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Some overtime and pre-employment drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
• Fabricate and assemble piping and sprinkler systems.
• Complete required weekly paperwork, daily progress reports, and job documentation.
• Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
• Create red-line drawings and keep project documentation accurate.
• Communicate project and schedule changes with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
• Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
