Job summary

Johnson Controls in Washington state is seeking a Fire Protection Technician to service and troubleshoot wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems and fire pumps. You will read blueprints, follow installation specifications and work with safety protocols.

The role requires 3–5 years in the industry, a Washington Sprinkler Fitter Certification, a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. A NICET certification is preferred and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fire protection systems
• Must have Washington State Sprinkler Fitter Certification
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to read blueprints and installation specifications

Responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot sprinkler and fire pump systems
• Interpret construction blueprints and installation diagrams
• Move and handle equipment up to 60 pounds; work at heights
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper PPE
• Submit time reports and coordinate with dispatch
