Job summary

Delta Fire Systems, a subsidiary of Western States Fire Protection (WSFP), is seeking qualified applicants for Fire Sprinkler Fitter positions. You will learn to install, repair and maintain various fixed extinguishing systems and may travel within Utah to multiple job sites.

Willingness to join the UA Local Union, be at least 18, and pass a post-offer drug test with a background check will be required. Prior experience is not necessary for entry into this role.

Qualifications

• Willing to become a member of the UA Local Union.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience is required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company policy.
• Willing to lift up to at least 50 pounds; with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing to climb ladders; with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong mechanical background is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment; with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing to pass a post-offer drug test and background check; if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, repair and maintain fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping.
• Install and service Standpipes, Wet Pipe, Dry Pipe, Pre-Action and Foam systems.
• Travel within the state and work at various locations/job sites as necessary.
• Comply with the union collective bargaining agreement.

FireSprinkler Fitters are pipefitting specialists in the fire protection industry and Western States Fire Protection is seeking qualified applicants for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Learn to install, repair and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
• Responsible for installing and servicing a variety of other fire protection equipment such as Standpipes, Wet Pipe systems, Dry Pipe systems, Pre-Action systems, and Foam systems.
• Travel within the state and willing to work on various locations/job sites; as necessary
• Comply with the union collective bargaining agreement
