Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC is seeking a skilled fire sprinkler installer to join our field team. You will install, assemble, and maintain sprinkler piping and devices per plans and NFPA standards, read construction drawings, and assist with testing and commissioning.

This on-site role requires physical endurance, safe operation of hand and power tools, and coordination with foremen to maintain project schedules. Training and safety meetings are integral to our program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET certification or trade-related training preferred.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and fire sprinkler installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler piping, fittings, and devices according to plans and specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with foremen and field personnel to meet project schedules.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.

Division 169 - Houston, TXSummaryResponsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects; ensures systems are installed according to NFPA standards, project specifications, and company quality and safety standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
