Job summary

M.C. Dean in Virginia is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Inspector to plan and conduct detailed testing of water-based fire protection systems across multiple sites.

You will document results, report deficiencies, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards while coordinating with account managers and clients. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, 5+ years of relevant experience or a 2-year tech degree with 4 years experience, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, NICET certifications preferred.
• 5+ years experience in inspection/testing; or 2 years tech degree plus 4 years experience.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct detailed inspection and testing of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and related devices.
• Assist with inspections of fire alarm, kitchen hoods, and preaction systems.
• Complete testing reports with results and deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, maintenance, and issues.
• Travel to sites, perform site surveys, and coordinate with clients and account managers.
