Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States seeks a Fire/Sprinkler Helper to provide field support for fire alarm and sprinkler inspection and service activities. You will assist inspectors and service technicians with setup, material handling, tool and equipment organization, and completion of assigned field tasks at customer locations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work in a field-based environment.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn inspection and service support activities.

Ability to lift, carry, and move tools, materials, and equipment.
Ability to work safely in accordance with all applicable safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Support fire alarm and sprinkler inspectors and service technicians with daily field operations.
Assist with jobsite setup and cleanup, including staging tools, materials, and equipment.
Handle materials, parts, and equipment needed to support inspection and service work.
Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas in accordance with company safety expectations.
