Job summary

Olympic West Fire Protection LLC in Salt Lake City is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Sale Estimator to analyze blueprints and project specifications, calculating materials, labor, and costs to prepare detailed bids for fire sprinkler installations.

You will review plans, perform take-offs, ensure NFPA code compliance, and collaborate with engineers and clients to gather data and align budgets while managing suppliers and conducting site visits to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NFPA codes (NFPA 13, NFPA 14) and construction processes.
• Proficient with estimating software and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience estimating fire sprinkler systems for new construction or retrofit projects.
• Technical degree or high school diploma; NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and project specs to define scope for fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform take-offs and cost estimation for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure code compliance with NFPA standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients to gather data and align budgets.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project costs.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and assess risks.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare bid documentation.
