Job summary

Everus seeks a fire sprinkler designer to plan and lay out systems on construction projects, using architectural drawings and preparation of calculations for construction. The role emphasizes coordination with team members to avoid design conflicts and to produce accurate material lists for procurement.

Responsibilities include creating construction plans, sharing preliminary sketches, and producing final drawings with AutoSprink while ensuring accuracy and alignment with project criteria.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler suppression design work and systems.
• Plan and lay out fire sprinkler systems using architectural drawings and prepare calculations for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and effective construction plans for material deliveries and field installation.
• Coordinate the design with other personnel on the same project to minimize design conflicts.
• Prepare stock listings of materials and requisitions after drawings are approved and finalized.
• Prepare preliminary sketches or schematic diagrams for fire sprinkler systems and review drawings against criteria.
• Create layout, detail, and assembly drawings using AutoSprink; analyze and modify designs as needed.
• Investigate data to develop a design and prepare material lists to accompany diagrams.
• Apply preliminary information to develop final designs and verify drawing completeness and clarity.
• This position requires occasional driving and performing additional duties as assigned.
