Qualifications

• Experience using CAD software to create detailed sprinkler designs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards for sprinkler design and layout.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD-based CAD software.
• Coordinate sprinkler piping with building components and other trades.
• Perform hydraulic calculations.
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Apply NFPA standards based on building type and classification.
• Communicate with AHJs, contractors, and team members.
• Coordinate with team on materials, permitting, and inspections.
• Participate in predesign and review meetings.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and quality improvements.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide outstanding customer service.
