Job summary

gpac partners with an established fire protection contractor to recruit a Fire Sprinkler Designer. The role focuses on designing systems for commercial and residential projects, producing detailed drawings and hydraulic calculations, and coordinating with contractors to gather necessary documentation.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience, NICET Level I+ in Water-Based Systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD, HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK, plus strong communication skills and travel

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in fire protection design or related field.
• NFPA codes knowledge required.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others.
• Detail oriented and organized with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and attend meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems for commercial and residential buildings.
• Produce detailed drawings and hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler and fire pump systems.
• Perform field surveys to assess site conditions.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to gather documentation.
