Job summary

Bayside Fire Protection, LLC in Owings Mills, MD seeks a Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Project Manager to design and manage sprinkler projects for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

You will use 3D/BIM design software, perform hydraulic calculations, read drawings, and coordinate with installers, architects, and customers. A team-oriented, proactive approach with NFPA code knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs, contracts.
• Interpret NFPA standards for design/layout based on building type.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout fire protection sprinkler systems compliant with NFPA standards.
• Read and interpret construction documents and contracts.
• Coordinate with customers, installers, and architects to meet project needs.
• Perform field checks to verify design accuracy.
• Coordinate deliveries of system materials to job site.
• Ensure safety protocols on site are followed.
