Job summary

Continental Fire Sprinkler Company in Omaha, NE is seeking a Design Intern to support the Drafting & Design team. You will assist with shop drawings revisions, plot job packets, and prepare CAD backgrounds under supervision by the Area Design Manager.

Qualified candidates are pursuing an Engineering-related degree, with knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Part‑time during school year and full‑time in summer 2026 are possible, with a strong work ethic and clear communication skills valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Associates degree also considered).
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Strong work ethic and reliable team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Department with revising shop drawings, plotting, and preparing job packets.
• Prepare CAD backgrounds and related design documents.
• Support project management and design tasks under supervision.
