Job summary

gpac partners with a well-established and growing fire protection contractor to hire an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer / Estimator. This role covers design and accurate estimating from bid through execution for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects, with collaboration across project managers, field teams, GCs, and AHJs to ensure profitability and code compliance. This is a high-impact, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in fire sprinkler design/estimating.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D.
• Perform hydraulic calculations.
• Complete material take-offs and labor estimates.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages.
• Review blueprints, specs, and addendums.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist PMs throughout project lifecycle.
• Attend pre-bid and coordination meetings as needed.
