Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for an on-site role in Concord, NC. You will develop fire sprinkler layouts, perform hydraulics calculations, and produce project documentation while collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure compliant, cost-effective designs.

The ideal candidate has a background in engineering design, some NICET certification, and enjoys leveraging modern software tools to optimize piping and fabrication data.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineering design experience & certification preferred.
• Fire sprinkler design experience preferred.
• NICET Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.
• Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
• Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.
• Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.
• Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design.
• Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.
• Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
• Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.
