Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. This fully remote position can be based anywhere in the United States. You will develop sprinkler designs, perform hydraulic calculations, and produce the documentation required to deliver compliant systems.

The role emphasizes design accuracy, coordination with project teams, and adoption of advanced design software. Relevant engineering background and NICET certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineering design experience and certification preferred.
• Fire sprinkler design experience preferred.
• NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops fire system designs, including sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement and hydraulic calculations.
• Produces supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
• Assists in equipment selection for system design.
• Analyzes building plans, project specs, and building type to identify design requirements.
• Confirms design criteria (hazard) required for the design.
• Performs hydraulic analysis and technical calculations to complete design.
• Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.
