Ferguson is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for an on-site role based in Concord, NC. The candidate will craft fire system designs, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare supporting documentation, coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The position requires 2 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s in Engineering, with NICET certification preferred. The role offers benefits and an opportunity to advance within a leading industrial distributor.

Formación

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineering design experience & certification preferred
• Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred
• NICET Certification Preferred

Responsabilidades

• Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.
• Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
• Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.
• Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.
• Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design.
• Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.
• Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
• Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting‑edge software platforms and tools.
