Job summary

Fireline Sprinkler LLC, a full-service fire protection contractor, seeks a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer in Wisconsin to design and coordinate systems from concept to completion. You will ensure compliance with NFPA standards, codes, and customer requirements across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

You will prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists, while coordinating with project managers, AHJs, and field personnel to deliver code-compliant designs on

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Associate degree in Fire Protection Design, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection system design.
• Understanding of code compliance and local AHJ requirements.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, SprinkCAD, SprinkFIT, Inventor, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects per NFPA standards and codes.
• Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material lists, and fabrication details.
• Conduct site surveys, plan reviews, and evaluate project requirements for effective design solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, AHJs, and other trades for code compliance.
• Submit plans for approval and provide technical support through design and construction.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, permits, and project records.
