Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice in Bloomfield, CT. You will assist foremen with installing fire sprinkler systems, learn industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols on active job sites.

This apprenticeship offers hands-on training, a clear path to licensing, weekly pay of $18–$22 per hour, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability, a 401K with employer match, paid time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license.
• Will lead to an apprenticeship program in fire sprinklers.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman with installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper installation techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Travel to job sites as required.
