Impact Fire Services is seeking a trainee to learn sprinkler system installation and related duties at job sites. The role involves site cleanup, unloading, staging, cutting/ threading pipe, and testing under close supervision from a Sprinkler Fitter.

You will receive guidance and training toward licensing while enjoying a collaborative, supportive team environment with opportunities for career advancement in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Able to follow verbal work instructions with moderate supervision.
• Demonstrates initiative to learn trade skills in fire protection.
• Willing to obtain applicable fire sprinkler installation/servicing codes.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Fitter to complete tasks at the job site in a timely, effective manner.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized per procedures.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Fitter and/or Manager.
• Work in scissor/boom lifts & on ladders when needed.
