Job summary
Midwest Alarm Services in Lenexa is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial life safety systems across our Midwest footprint.
The role requires NICET II within 2 years, and familiarity with Notifier/Simplex/EST systems, card access, and nurse call systems. A valid driver's license and background checks are required; on-call duties may apply.
Qualifications
- Install, service and maintain commercial fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Must obtain NICET II within 2 years.
- Must obtain licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry.
- Valid driver’s license and pre-employment background checks.
- Experience with Notifier, Simplex, EST systems is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Test and verify that systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specifications.
- Program or reprogram systems using programming software.
- Complete proper paperwork and submit daily to the appropriate department.
- On-call responsibility and may oversee other technicians as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
