Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented and motivated service technician to join our security business unit. The role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling and devices, and performing installations of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and security systems.

You will read drawings, ensure code compliance, maintain a clean job site, and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Honeywell Notifier and/or Siemens Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years experience servicing fire and security. Must have 1 year experience in the construction industry
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to use power tools

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and devices
• Perform installations of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and security systems
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and project documentation
• Ensure work meets local codes, NEC, and company quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers
