In this position you will perform inspections, repairs, and part replacements while delivering on-site training and support to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire extinguishers and backflow assemblies.
• Familiarity with RP, DC, PVB backflow devices and local plumbing codes.
• Ability to document service activities accurately and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of backflow prevention assemblies to ensure compliance with codes.
• Perform certified backflow repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance.
• Inspect fire extinguishers for compliance with codes and standards.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble extinguishers for optimal performance.
• Inspect and replace parts such as valves, hoses, nozzles, and seals.
• Recharge extinguishers and pressurize to required levels.
• Install and service brackets, signage, and safety equipment.
• Provide on-site training to customers on use and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records using Service Trade platform.
• Assist with inventory management of parts and stock.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to optimize routes and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
