University Health is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to support fire alarm and sprinkler systems across its campuses. You will assist with maintenance, testing, inspections, and keeping extinguishers in service, while coordinating with trades to bypass or acknowledge panels and annunciators.

Strong attention to safety and compliance, ability to read plans is valued, and a valid Texas Class C driver’s license is required to access multiple sites.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, schematics and work orders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection on fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Check extinguishers in University Health buildings and facilities.
• Assist trades with bypassing and acknowledging fire alarm panels and annunciators.
• Maintain and clean fire alarm devices.
• Ensure safe, competent, timely performance of assigned tasks.
