Job summary

The U.S. Pacific Fleet in Everett, WA is seeking a Damage Control expert to support the Fire Safety Assessment Program and CNSP/CNSL 4810.1.

You will assist in Emergency Management, train staff on Area Commander duties, and coordinate with commanders to improve fire response readiness. You will plan and execute a yearly Full-Scale Exercise to assess Area Commander proficiency when responding to a Major Shipboard Fire, and provide technical guidance to Force Damage Control Officers and surface

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-11 in the Federal service or equivalent.
• Experience leading shipboard assessments, policy reviews and training for fire marshals and emergency teams.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading shipboard assessments, policy reviews and training for fire Marshalls and emergency teams by supporting the planning, education and monitoring of short- and long-range strategies to enhance response capabilities that ensure mission success for a command
