Job summary

Responsibilities

Perform specialized work on fire protection systems: inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, pumps, and related life safety equipment.
Ensure all systems function properly and comply with NFPA and Florida Fire Code; troubleshoot deficiencies and support upgrades, installations and inspections across County facilities.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, deficiencies and corrective actions; coordinate with vendors, inspectors and staff to resolve issues.
Provide training and guidance on fire protection systems, inspection procedures and safety protocols; develop and deliver training to facilities personnel.
Coordinate with building managers, contractors and inspectors to schedule inspections and access facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and project success.
