Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Fire Protection Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely project delivery. You will coordinate daily operations, manage field teams, and partner with PMs to maintain schedules across multiple projects.

The role requires extensive field leadership, experience in fire protection systems, and a track record of enforcing safety policies and quality controls on industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and proven track record as a construction Fire Protection Superintendent or similar role.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
• Understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the onsite construction as a unified and collaborative team.
• Coordinate & oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
• Manage field responsibilities on medium to complex projects and/or multiple smaller project teams.
• Collaborate with the PM to create and maintain the project schedule.
• Lead new hire jobsite introductions and training and assign jobs.
• Conduct direct report employee reviews annually or more often if needed.
• Collaborate with the estimating team for bidding and technical guidance.
• Ensure safety policies are enforced and MSAs are completed as needed.
• Prepare a two-week look ahead schedule with the PM.
• Attend hand-off meetings to discuss project scope and start.
