Job summary

Wayman Fire Protection is seeking a Service Coordinator to support field technicians and customers with service requests, contracts, billing, scheduling, and documentation. You will work closely with the Department Manager to ensure timely, accurate administrative tasks and strong customer communication.

This in-person role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and attention to detail, with opportunities for professional development in life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in Life Safety industry preferred.
• 2–5 years in Customer Service preferred.
• 2–5 years in an administrative role supporting multiple people preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Team-oriented with good collaboration abilities.
• High School diploma; bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and clerical support.
• First point of contact for sprinkler service requests.
• Coordinate and organize departmental events.
• Respond to work requests from department staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain departmental materials and files.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Provide support to Wayman employees and managers as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
