Job summary

Newark Fire Sprinkler Corp. is seeking a Test & Inspection Sales Representative for a full-time, on-site role based in West Caldwell, NJ.

You will identify and develop new inspection and testing opportunities, build relationships with property owners, facility managers, and contractors, and promote our fire protection services. Daily duties include site visits, preparing proposals and quotes, following up on leads, and managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through closing.

Qualifications

• Prospecting, consultative selling, and account management experience.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems or willingness to learn.
• Clear verbal and written communication; able to present proposals and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and visits.
• Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking leads and opportunities.
• On-site work in Newark, NJ travel to customer locations.
• B2B sales experience in construction/building services or life safety preferred.
• High school diploma required; additional sales or fire protection certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new inspection and testing opportunities with property owners, facility managers, and contractors.
• Schedule site visits, prepare proposals and quotes, and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Follow up on leads, maintain CRM records, and participate in local networking events to expand market presence.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure service quality and compliance with codes and regulations.
