Job summary

Northstar Fire Protection of Texas, Inc. is seeking an Fire Protection Project Manager to lead the construction of quality Fire Protection systems for hospitals and commercial/industrial facilities.

You will manage multiple projects, attend jobsite and kickoff meetings, review bid documents, and coordinate with general contractors for scheduling. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with stakeholders, and ability to handle extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the design, labor, and construction of fire protection systems in hospitals and other commercial/industrial buildings.
• Computer literate and comfortable with spreadsheets and computerized software programs.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.
• Attend project jobsite meetings and kickoff/startup meetings.
• Review and understand all project bid documents.
• Assist with change order estimates.
• Coordinate with General contractors and Construction managers for scheduling and meetings.
• Complete equipment submittals for approvals.
• Assist accounting staff with billing information.
• Maintain and follow Operations and Maintenance manuals.
• Work with engineering and estimating staff as a team.
• Submittal and retrieve permits from local AHJ.
• Purchasing of selected materials for your project.
• Support field operations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining detail orientation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.

• Attend project jobsite meetings, start up meetings and understand the complete scope of work required for projects.

• Review and understand all of the project bid documents.

• Assist with change order estimates.

• Coordinate with General contractors and Construction managers for scheduling and other coordination types of meetings.

• Complete equipment submittals of various products for approvals.

• Assist accounting staff with billing information.

• Maintain and follow Operations and Maintenance manuals.
