Job summary

Fire & Safety Specialists, Inc. seeks an experienced Fire Protection Project Manager to lead end-to-end installations at hyperscale data center campuses.

This on-site leadership role prioritizes safety, compliance, and delivering complex multi-system protections across mission-critical facilities. Ideal candidates have NFPA/AHJ knowledge, NICET III certification, and are willing to travel up to 20% with the ability to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-system fire protection projects through full lifecycle.
• Hands-on expertise with NFPA codes and AHJ standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work extended hours.
• Proficient with Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex fire protection installations.
• Direct daily field operations, subcontractors, and field crews.
• Coordinate milestones with general contractors to align with critical path schedules.
• Monitor labor, materials, and equipment against budgets to control costs.
• Negotiate and process change orders to protect project scope and margins.
• Conduct internal inspections and pre-commissioning testing to preserve 100% first-time pass rate with AHJs.
• Deliver as-built documentation, O&M packages, and system owner training at closeout.
