Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks a Fire Protection Program Engineer (FPPE) to serve as the station's technical authority for implementing and maintaining the Fire Protection Program in line with NFPA standards and regulatory requirements.

The FPPE provides leadership across engineering, operations, maintenance, and oversight bodies, supporting inspections and design reviews while ensuring program health and compliance with licensing bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent nuclear experience required.
• Minimum years of nuclear experience vary by level and include regulatory exposure.
• Must meet access requirements and pass medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Program Health Reports/KPIs for Fire Protection and FLEX.
• Maintain and update program documentation, including FPR and Safe Shutdown analyses.
• Perform engineering evaluations of fire barriers, detection, suppression, and safe-shutdown features.
• Review and approve design changes affecting fire protection systems or licensing basis.
• Lead or support Fire Protection inspections and audits; support investigations.
