Job summary

Mullins Mechanical seeks a Fire Protection Project Manager in Atlanta, GA to oversee ignition and sprinkler project work. You will coordinate field technicians, liaise with clients, ensure code compliance, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fire protection with sprinkler focus, NICET II+ preferred, and PMP/Capm desirable. Occasional travel and continued education are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection, with emphasis on sprinkler systems.
• Proven project management experience, ideally in a service-focused environment.
• NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems preferred.
• PM certifications desirable; proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fire protection projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate field technicians and liaise with clients to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure code compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and safety standards.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; track progress and performance.
• Promote safety and provide training and documentation for projects.
• Support sales by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations.
• Attend site surveys and communicate technical education to customers.
